Power Yoga at Taekwondo World

The ultimate workout for gaining flexibility and strength and for establishing the mind-body connection.

The Workout

Power Yoga is a system of exercise, breathing and meditation techniques designed for health and self-awareness. Yoga as fitness training is the most popular way that Westerners practice Yoga. Power Yoga is a version of traditional Hatha Yoga (the yoga of physical discipline). As a result of your workout you can expect toning, shaping, and sculpting.

The main purpose of yoga practice is to correct all imbalance and to maintain harmony - the harmony between looking outward and looking inward, the harmony between exertion and relaxation, the harmony between physical and mental activity.

The inner awareness of the body that is developed through yoga practice guards against physical strain and injury, whether practicing yoga or any other activity.

Yoga practice gradually develops self-awareness, personal responsibility and self-consideration whatever we are doing.
