Frequently Asked Questions About Taekwondo World Programs
How much does it cost?
Every student who seeks enrollment, is first invited to participate as Our Guest in an appropriate class session to "see if we are a fit". There are no long term contracts offered in the beginning. Click on the program of choice to get more specific information.
Although the schedule is flexible, it is expected that a "program" will be completed within a reasonable time.
Power Yoga agreements are arranged as a 10 Class Pass or as an Unlimited 90-Day Class Pass.
Is there an average cost?
Please see Enrollment from the drop down menu of program of interest.
Do you offer discounts for families?
There are significant discounts - up to 60% - offered to members of the same household participating in any of the programs. There are also discounts for a single individual who participates simultaneously in more than one program.
Do you have contracts?
Yes. However, each one is specifically written to meet your individual needs at the time. Taekwondo agreements, after the Introductory Program are designed to help the student achieve a specific rank (color belt). The agreement can be as short or as lengthy as the student desires. The longer the agreement period, the more discount is offered. An additional benefit of longer agreements is that they "freeze" tomorrow's participation at today's fees.
Power Yoga and Cardio/Defense agreements arranged in 10 or 30 session programs. Three month programs are offered at a discount.
What about payment plans?
Taekwondo - short programs ( i.e., one belt level - approximately 3 months) normally require payment in full in advance. Taekwondo World accepts all major credit and debit cards. Longer agreements (and sometimes even short ones) may be set up on a payment plan with our billing company. Billing and payments are processed in a variety of ways according to individual needs and preferences.
Power Yoga and Cardio/Defense programs are paid in advance, and renewed as they expire. An "EZ Pay" program is available for ongoing programs at a discounted fee.
How often can I come to class?
Two times a week is the recommended minimum. There is no restriction on the number of times per week an individual may attend. But on the practical level, 3 times is optimal; 4 times is generally counterproductive. The schedule is flexible enough to accomodate nearly all personal circumstances.

Who can enroll?
Taekwondo - Enrollments in the Taekwondo program are not generally accepted prior to age 5 although some 4 year olds are sufficiently "mature" to participate successfully. Determination is made by observation during a "Guest Class" and discussion with the Master Bleil.
Cardio/Fitness Kickboxing - Students should be at least 16 years of age. Enrollment under 18 years old requires parental consent as well as permission of the instructor and program director.
EZ Defense - Students should be at least 16 years of age. Enrollment under 18 years old requires parental consent as well as permission of the instructor and program director.
Power Yoga - Students should be at least 16 years of age. Enrollment under 18 years old requires parental consent as well as permission of the instructor and program director.
What should I wear?
For the Guest Class, always wear something loose and/or stretchy which will allow you to move comfortably through large movements. Taekwondo and Power Yoga are practiced in bare feet. Cardio and Defense may be practiced with or without athletic shoes.
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are not required although making one is helpful. For yourself, it makes a committment. For the instructor, it provides opportunity to offer you a bit more personal attention.
When can I begin?
Our schedule is flexible enough to accommodate you nearly any day that best suits your schedule. Please call for the next or most appropriate class time.
Who will instruct me?
Click on the program of your choice for more information about the instructional staff.
